Inspiration: Kitchen Backsplash

People ask me all the time, “how are the renovations going, are you finished yet?” and my answer will always be no, until the kitchen hood vent and kitchen backsplash are installed. I can’t share, “before and after” photos when the after isn’t an after, YET! Yes, it’s livable and I’ve come to ignore the wires sticking out of the wall in the kitchen…but it doesn’t mean I haven’t stopped dreaming of what it will look like AFTER!

Had we gone ahead with the backsplash months ago, in the throws of renovation…I was 100% sure I would do classic white subway tile, in a classic brick pattern with a dark grey grout. BUT, now that I have had months to think about it, I’ve had months to become indecisive and now I’m not so sure!

Here are some inspirational kitchens that get me all indecisive and inspired:

All that being said, I still LOVE the classic look of white subway tile in a brick pattern with dark grout.
